TOArts, the nonprofit fundraising and presenting partner of the Bank of America Performing Arts Center, is pleased to introduce its new board leadership and welcome esteemed financial expert and philanthropist Matthew Burke to its board of directors.

Al Lowe has been appointed as the new Board Chair, succeeding David Mead who remains an active board member, while Keith Wintermute steps into the role of Treasurer. Kyle Rohrbach continues his leadership as Vice Chair, and Janet Scherr remains in her position as Secretary. Each officer brings a wealth of experience and commitment to advancing TOArts’ mission of enriching the cultural vitality of Ventura County and the surrounding community.

TOArts is also honored to welcome Matthew Burke as its newest board member. As Managing Partner of Singer Burke Zimmer & Kogan LLP, Burke leads firm operations with decades of expertise in holistic financial planning. Deeply devoted to humanitarian causes and the arts, Burke has long supported his local creative community—a passion he shared with his late wife, Donna Mason Adams, a talented artist and beloved Thousand Oaks teacher.

"I deeply believe in the transformative power of the arts and am honored to support the important work that TOArts is doing in our community,” said Burke. “As a board member, I look forward to fostering programs that empower emerging artists and bring meaningful artistic experiences to audiences of all ages.”

Niki Chopra Richardson, Associate Director and incoming Executive Director of TOArts, added, “We are thrilled to welcome Matthew to our board and embark on a new chapter of leadership with Al, Keith, Kyle, and Janet. As we continue to expand our array of programs, including our new Workforce Development initiatives, the experience and dedication of our board members will be key in driving TOArts’ vision and ensuring that the arts continue to thrive in our community.”
