Registration opens October 14 for the Yarrow Family YMCA’s Winter Flag Football League. The league is from January 13 to March 3, 2023. Games and practices take place on Fridays at Westlake Community Park next to the Yarrow Family YMCA (31107 Thousand Oaks Blvd., Westlake Village). The league is run in partnership with A-Town Football.
The league has four divisions: kindergarteners, 1st and 2nd graders, 3rd and 4th graders, 5th and 6th graders and 7th and 8th graders. At the time of registration, players must already have a team assembled with a coach. All teams need a minimum of seven players to be accepted as a team.
Kinder Division:
8 weeks • 1/13-3/3
Practice and 1 Game per night • Games Begin at 3 pm
5th/6th & 7th/8th Divisions:
4 weeks • 1/13-2/3
2 Games Per Night • Games Begin at 4 pm
1st/2nd & 3rd/4th Divisions:
4 Weeks • 2/10-3/3
2 Games Per Night • Games Begin at 4 pm
The league fee is $185 per player for YMCA members or $195 for non-members. The fee includes a jersey, shorts and the cost of referees. Registration closes on November 11 or when team slots are all filled.
