Los Robles Hospital Celebrates 50th Anniversary with Unveiling of New Name and New Look
Thousand Oaks, CA, May 14, 2018 – Los Robles Regional Medical Center (formerly Los Robles Hospital & Medical Center) has unveiled a new logo and a slight name change that more accurately reflects the vision of the medical center – to be the most trusted resource for health, and a regional destination for care. Given Los Robles’ rapid growth over the last decade with the acquisition of Thousand Oaks Surgical Hospital (TOSH), the expansion of the Los Robles Rehabilitation Hospital, the opening of the Los Robles Imaging Center in Moorpark, and newly launched programs, all entities will now fall under the Los Robles Health System umbrella.
“Over the last 50 years, Los Robles has continued to grow to meet the needs of the communities we serve, and it’s important that our brand is a reflection of that growth,” said Natalie Mussi, President and CEO. “It’s also imperative that we recognize and honor its rich heritage to help guide us into the future.”
The new name and look are a result of messaging and branding analyses paired with the valued input of the community in the form of focus groups. In recognition of the medical center’s 50th anniversary, the new logo will feature a large “50” accompanied by the tagline “50 years of compassionate care” for the first year of its rebranding.
“Our brand has always stood for healthcare excellence and we feel that the new look captures the essence of our brand purpose and the commitment to the community,” said Adam Blackstone, Vice President of Marketing and Public Relations. “Our community is part of the Los Robles family core, and we are thankful and appreciate their valued input, which validated our branding evolution.”
The new branding elements were presented in conjunction with the kick-off of Hospital Week. Following the announcement, Los Robles rolled out a video commemorating its 50th year anniversary with interviews from some of the physicians, employees, volunteers, and community members that played an integral role in the hospital from its inception.
