CHILD’S SPECIAL SQUISHMALLOWS WISH A REALITY
On Wednesday, Jan. 29, Jazwares Cares, the philanthropic arm of leading global toy manufacturer Jazwares, and Make-A-Wish
® Central Coast and Southern Central Valley revealed Liberty, the Squishmallows designed by Make-A-Wish kid Olivia in the likeness of her dog. The Make-A-Wish Squishmallows experience took place at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles in Los Angeles, California.
Olivia is a courageous 11-year-old battling a genetic respiratory disorder with unparalleled strength and positivity. Her biggest inspirations through her battle have been her friends, family, loyal dog Liberty, and love of her favorite cuddly plush Squishmallows–sparking a dream to one day design her very own Squishmallows as a tribute to her beloved canine companion.
Olivia was involved in every step of creating her Squishmallows, from concept to final design. However, her Wish not only included creating her special Squishmallows but also donating the Squishmallows she created to other children battling childhood diseases at the children’s hospital where she received treatment.
In addition to the Squishmallows that Olivia donated to Children’s Hospital Los Angeles, Jazwares is donating the Liberty Squishmallows to several other children’s hospitals and is selling a limited quantity to celebrate Olivia’s wish come true, with 100 percent of the proceeds donated to the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
