Mayor Al Adam
Mayor Al Adam has served on the Thousand Oaks City Council since 2012 and has been one of the most vital business community's voices and supporters, especially around housing, jobs, and quality of life during his current term. Prior to serving on City Council, he was a City of Thousand Oaks Planning Commissioner from 2004-2010. Adam has a long history of community service, having served as a 20-year Board Member of the Conejo Valley YMCA, a Founding Member of the Alliance for the Arts, and served on their Board of Governors for a decade, prioritizing local arts and culture in Thousand Oaks. Currently, Al serves the community as Mayor and is a current SCAG representative for the region.
Al works in financial services and loves spending time with his wife, Marilyn, and twin daughters, Erica and Allison.
